Meet the latest creation from the fine folks at Cherry Bomb Exhaust, purveyor of old-school glasspack mufflers and muscle-car mayhem that wreaked havoc throughout the Seventies.
This Pro Street 1968 Camaro, built for company CEO Paul Banks by legendary rodders Year One, was born the same year as the company, so that’s fitting. It’s got a 427 cu. in. LSX crate engine with a badass 2.9-liter Whipple blower sticking out the hood, pumping out 830 wild horsepower with 10 pounds of boost. That’s bolted to a Tremec Magnum six-speed manual. Fourteen-inch Baer brakes and a four-link rear end add to the dream muscle car status.
Watch hot rod aficionado and mullet enthusiast Stacey David show off the black and red Cherry Bomb. And in true Cherry Bomb style, “it disturbs the peace everywhere it goes.”
