Sweden’s only supercar, more like. (The Saab Sonnet was pretty good too.) Koenigsegg’s CCR slammed the supercar competition with its 806 horsepower, twin-supercharged V8, earning it the title of the fastest production car in the world for a scant few months in 2004. (Then the Bugatti Veyron came about, and the rest was history.)
Back in 2010, the ZR1 was hot stuff, too. With 638 horsepower, it was also edging up against supercar status. That’s why it ends up here on this runway against a Koenigsegg CCR Evolution, for a brief and exciting high speed run, before chasing it around some wide, broad tracks.
Later, in the parking lot, is a veritable cornucopia of exotica: Porsches, Lamborghinis, Benz CLK Black Editions, and the like. And then they all go for a parade lap.
