We’ve featured Steven and his Late Model Racecraft team quite a bit over the past year, and that’s simply because they know how to build some majorly impressive racers.
Fereday and his crew have invested in a good amount of R&D on the C7 corvette platform over the last few months, engineering and machining their own parts in-house. Watch them take a bone stock 2015 C7 Z06 with just a few bolt-on parts and run 9-second quarters at Royal Purple Raceway.
As noted by the video description on youtube by Nara Speed, this Z06 is equipped with a small shot of nitrous, but the record 9.81 pass at 142.06mph was achieved with only an underdrive pulley, long tube headers, custom LMR air-to-water intercooler, cold air intake, and 160* thermostat.
That’s pretty damn fast considering this was done on the factory 1.7L blower, no porting, no meth, no headwork, and factory camshaft.
Kudos guys and we look forward to seeing what you come up with next!
