Vengeance Racing is “the Nation’s #1 LS Performance Shop,” according to Vengeance Racing. But they certainly seem to have the knowledge and experience to back it up. A couple of 1,000-horsepower LSx motors will probably attest to that.
Ron Mowen is the owner of Vengeance Racing, and he takes us around to what the shop’s currently working on: a C7 Z06 with 787 rear-wheel horsepower, a stroker C6 Z06 with twin turbos, and even a Firebird headed to the Texas Mile.
We’re impressed by how clean and organized the shop is, with half a dozen or so lifts and a floor that resembles an operating room.
After the tour, there’s a peek into the design and customization process, the dyno run, and a couple straight-line runs outside in a CTS-V. We assume that car, too, has dizzying amounts of horsepower.
