This fourth-gen Camaro is pushing nearly a thousand horsepower, thanks to a huge turbocharger feeding its LS1 engine. And at Edgewater Sports Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, it lays waste to a monster Dodge Ram—and wins a cool thousand bucks in the process.
Other modifications found within this Camaro’s sleek silver body are an adjustable drag suspension, drag tires and the necessary parachute.
According to one YouTube commenter, the car was running a high 8 seconds, at 161mph. Every time the car comes close to crossing the line at the strp, the video switches scenes—so we’ll have to take his word for it. With a thousand horsepower, however, it certainly seems within the realm of possibility.
