Introduced in 2005, the C6 Corvette featured a new 6-liter V8 that produced 400 bhp at 6000 rpm and 400 lb·ft of torque. In stock form the base C6 was no slouch, but it wasn’t setting any performance records either. For model year 2008 base C6-ers tossed the LS2 for a new 6.2 liter V8 dubbed the LS3, that bumped power up to 430 at 6500 rpm and 428 lb·ft of torque at 4600 rpm, but still there will always be those waiting more, and the wide selection of tuners out there are happy oblige.
DSX tuning out of St. Louis added a new camshaft, clutch, full exhaust, a few other cheap mods, and that was all it took for this LS3 C6 Corvette in the video above to throw down sub 11-second passes on the drag stip.
