2014 COPO Camaro hits the dragstrip

One badass COPO Camaro hits the strip against a 1990s Mustang, and thoroughly lays it to waste.

This is a brand new 2014 COPO Camaro, and it exudes business, inside and out: with a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger, a Turbo 400 gearbox, and huge drag tires, it managed to break into the high 8s its first few runs out. Driver Bruno Massel had his best time of 8.93 seconds at 152 mph with this black beast.

Imagine running that quickly with a car barely off the showroom floor. Plus a few mods, of course. And it performs nasty dragstrip burnouts just like Chevrolet intended.
