Jeff Gordon may have been the official pace car driver for the 99th running of the Indy 500, but on the day before the race, 2013 champ Tony Kanaan was handing out thrills to many in the form of Z06 hot-laps.
As seen in the video above, Autoblog managing editor Steven Ewing gets a lap around the Speedway in the Corvette Z06 pace car with the former champ, a minute-and-a-half he’s sure to remember.
“…Kanaan hugs the wall in true race style, getting the Z06 past 150 miles per hour on the back straight.” said Ewing.
