While wearing his finest Hawaiian duds, Hooniverse’s Jason Connor takes a C5 Corvette Z06 out for a spin.
The Corvette belongs to one Richard Radcliffe, a friend of the Hooniverse and the site’s resident wrench. Connor, no stranger to Corvettes himself, finally gets to drive the one Vette that’s eluded him for so long: a well-preserved, black-on-blue C5 Z06 with six-year old Bridgestones that he promptly destroys into smoke.
“If you want cheap speed with high levels of handling in a lightweight package,” concludes Connor, “you really can’t do wrong with a Z06.” Watch the video to find out why.
