Corvette and CTS-V play in the dirt with Matt Farah

The Smoking Tire takes the C6 Corvette against its four-door friend, the Cadillac CTS-V, out for a challenge.

Up to El Mirage, the dry lake bed north of Los Angeles, where there’s plenty of room to take these LS-powered machines up to their full potential.

That CTS-V is a wagon, too, which gives it the car-guy credentials that only a 556-horsepower wagon with a six-speed manual can provide. Yes, indeed, before you have to ask: it hauls from both ends.
