The private-membership Classic Car Club Manhattan has some great rides: a Shelby Cobra, a Ford GT40 replica, a slew of hip old Porsches. But this is their new toy: a bright yellow C7 Corvette Z06. If the sound doesn’t turn heads in Manhattan, the color will.
And, naturally, they won’t just hand the keys to any goon walking down the street. Let’s learn about the Corvette Z06, shall we?
In true enthusiast spec, this Velocity Yellow car has the Competition package, with the trick carbon fiber seats. And it has the seven-speed manual. (Which can only be fully enjoyed in a 20-mile radius outside Manhattan, we take it.) This car’s got it all: heads up display, glass roof, rev matching, even an aux jack.
And, of course, an awesome noise.
