2,500 horsepower is going to lay down the law at the Texas Mile, and with Tom Nelson building the twin-turbo engine, we can thoroughly expect it to hit 260 mph.
Just before the Texas Mile event, Tom takes you around the incredible build that will someday hit the 200mph mark on the runway. Things start with a big-block Chevy motor cranked up to 632 cubic inches. Then it gets good with a Nelson Racing Engines Mirror Image twin-turbo setup, something that Nelson has been excited about for a while now.
Lastly, an NRE Alien intake and a healthy supply of race gas help push the power levels to a massive 2,500 horsepower.
Check out the car and prepare to be amazed. These guys know what they’re doing.
