Some days are better than others: C7 Z06 makes nice with the trees

The new Corvette C7 Z06 has only been in the hands of owners for just a few months, and here’s one less that will be seen on public roads. It seems this owner may have underestimated what 650HP is really like to handle on the streets.

From what have heard, the car had been off the lot for just 24 hours. It’s a Z07 package fitted with the manual gearbox, and the cause of the accident was a “misunderstanding” about launch control.

This cell phone video (please people turn your phone’s horizontal when recording) and pictures of the incident quickly surfaced online of the torch red Corvette Z06 after it crashed into the trees.
