As noted by the auction website, this 35th Anniversary 1988 Chevrolet Corvette was delivered new from the factory to the famed Bob McDorman Chevrolet in Canal Winchester, Ohio. This 1 of 2,050 35th Anniversary Special Edition Corvettes had an original MSRP of $35,072 and a list of features that includes the L98 350/245 HP Tuned Port Injection V-8, special 35th Anniversary color scheme and an extensive list of options as described above.
In 2004 it was purchased by collector Larry Gerig and eventually was added to the Ed Foss Collection. Unrestored with 163 original miles, this is another time capsule worthy of the Bloomington Gold Benchmark, Survivor and Gold Certification it earned in 2008. Documented in part with the window sticker, press kit, owner’s manual and cassette tape, this 35th Anniversary’s ownership lineage is truly one to celebrate.
