New Corvettes are fun, and fast, and all that, but the C3 Corvette still has a timeless shape to it. Yes, even including the plastic-capped, smog-riddled, late-Seventies hair-shirt disco-ball examples.
CorvetteBen on Youtube has ten rules about buying a C3 Corvette, above, which he first published on Corvette Forum in 2008. Seems like many of those rules haven’t changed. What kind of Corvette do you want—chrome bumpers versus rubber? Coupe or convertible? How solid is the “Birdcage?” How’s the fiberglass? And more importantly, how much do you want to spend?
Before long, you can roll like the coolest guy on the block.
