A tale of two 1962 Corvettes

A tale of two 1962 Corvettes

One new, one old. That’s how it is with this pair of red 1962 Corvettes: the one on the left is a genuine article, but the one on the left is a C5 conversion.

It might not be to your tastes, but this much is clear: it certainly outperforms its doppelgänger. That’s what 50 years of progress will do, of course. Like the 1962, it’s a vivid shade of red, inside and out. And underneath its huge one-piece hood, it’s LS1 engine even has old-school valve covers.

Come to think of it, the 1962 is worth way more than that C5, even with the time and money poured into its old-school bones.
