Like many of you we love to surf for rare gems on eBay once in a while, and sometimes stumble upon some truly epic finds, like this 1989 Corvette convertible that has received the full Callaway treatment.
According to the sellers description, this C4 Corvette convertible is only one of 67 to receive the RPO B2K Callaway Twin Turbo conversion which was available through select Chevy dealers. With only 3,700 miles on the odometer this may be the finest example in existence.
The $25,895 Callaway conversion, consisted of twin intercooled turbochargers, and many other performance engine modifications, boosting this Vette to 382 horsepower and 562 ft/lbs of torque.
Also affixed when new was a full Callaway aerobody package, special badging, and distinctive Dymag wheels wrapped in sticky speed rated tires. We’d have preferred to see a manual transmission on this one, but we figure mashing the throttle down would help to ease our lack of a third pedal disappointment.
