But inside this 1,265-horsepower, twin-turbo Corvette C6 Z06 at the Texas Mile, the lucky cameraman riding shotgun got to experience the full force of this monster car. Twin Precision 6265 turbochargers and a full run-through by San Antonio-based Lethal Performance are what propels it to dizzying speeds on the runway.

Later, the Corvette takes on some formidable foes: a 1,300-horsepower Toyota Supra, and an 1,100-horsepower Nissan GT-R.
