Well, it may take you longer, but in this time-lapse, it takes the folks at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering just seven minutes and 38 seconds to install it in this C6 Corvette Grand Sport.
With the company’s new “Heartbeat” supercharger, Magnuson claims: “bolt on 120+ horsepower in a day!” In this case, it takes less time than that. Magnuson’s Heartbeat features more efficiency, a smaller size, and as much as 25 more horsepower than the popular TVS 2300 kit.
All that, and so much more. This video offers a peak into the Lingenfelter shops, with some cool machinery in the background: a GMC Yukon Denali, a Pontiac GTO, a C6 Corvette ZR1, a Cadillac CTS-V—even a C4 Corvette.
When all’s said and done, that LS3-equipped C6 hits the dyno at 527 horsepower and 474 lb-ft of torque, to the rear tires. That’s pretty good. But we doubt the Lingenfelter boys are gonna stop there.
