This is one ferocious Z06. At the 19th Annual Halltech World Cup Finals, held at Maryland International Raceway, this bright orange Z06 ripped the strip in six seconds.
Driver Mark Carlyle’s Z06 rocks twin Garrett GTX turbines, nestled in the front bumpers, with a 440 Dart billet block. All that power is sent via an RPM TH400 transmission. And boy does that power go down: its first run saw 220.62mph at 6.80 seconds.
“It takes off so smoothly for a 6 second car!” says one commenter, which isn’t something you hear all day.
Watch as it makes its second run: at 6.78 seconds, hitting 224.40mph, this Z06 rules the roost.
