Corvette and Lamborghini have four-figure horsepower showdown

This is a battle of high horsepower and fat wallets.

The Corvette is a C6 Z06 modded by Lethal Performance, with a twin-turbo setup that’s now crushing it with 1,265 horsepower.

And the Lamborghini Gallardo? It also has twin-turbos, with even more power: Underground Racing has imbued it with 1,550 horsepower.

The Lamborghini not only has the horsepower advantage, but it also has the added bonus of AWD. But the Z06 is lighter. So, during the quarterfinals of the Spring 2013 running of the Texas Invitational, both of these superb supercars have 1,500 feet to prove who’s boss.

Ramping up to nearly 200mph, the two make for a close finish! But who wins? You gotta see it to find out.
