Who’s afraid of the big, bad Corvette? This Viper ACR driver, evidently.
At Harris Hill Raceway in Central Texas, this Corvette ZR1 met up with this Viper ACR for a little bit of fun. But as the resulting dash video shows, the rare, powerful, track-tuned ACR isn’t much faster than the Corvette. That ZR1 driver keeps up with him the entire way. And having that Corvette breathing down your neck can’t do the ACR any favors.
So, the Viper eventually flies off the track. Spraying the Vette with a shower of rocks, too.
We believe both car and driver were fine, thankfully, despite the bruised ego.
And this being Texas, the Viper set the grass on fire, and the fire department had to show up. Talk about a hot track!
