It’s LS vs. LS here, and damn the doors.
The body styles may be completely different, but both cars are LS-equipped monsters. The 2010 Corvette ZR1 has a custom tune, and not much else needed to harness huge power. And the Pontiac G8 features a 418 cu. in. stroker engine from Texas Speed, with a tune from East Texas Muscle Cars
The G8’s Magnacharger TVS2300 supercharger from Lingenfelter provides massive power. LS3 heads, a Lingenfelter GT9 cam, and full intake, headers and exhaust round out the potent package.
And all that power is enough to break the G8 into the ten-second club. A quarter-mile run at 10.72 seconds is no small feat. And against the smaller, lighter, fast as hell ZR1, it looks like it can more than hold its own.
