Watch this C7 Corvette Stingray take on a Dodge Viper SRT at the dragstrip! Black vs. white. Good vs. evil. Hell, even coupe vs. convertible. At least both of these cars are packing manual transmissions—the Viper as a default, and the Stingray as an enthusiast’s choice.
The Vette gets a rough launch, but follows through to maintain a huge lead. Its shifts are hard, its acceleration relentless. And it crosses the line in 12.49 seconds—while the Viper did it in less.
