One awesome Corvette Z06 hits the high 9 seconds

9.83 seconds, to be specific—and that’s before nitrous.

This 2015 C7 Corvette Z06 was built by Race Proven Motorsports with what seems to be bolt-ons: 2-inch ARH headers, AFE intake, an RPM cam and lower pulley, Dsteck flex-fuel sensor, LMR heat exchanger and drag radials. That’s it. The iconic C5 Z06 wheels in back are a nice touch.

And at Cecil County Dragway, this Z06 was .02 seconds away from setting a new record for C7 Z06s—according to youtuber BigKleib34 that is. Hey, just turn on the nitrous.
