Thousand-horsepower monsters hit the streets of Atlanta

This ain’t Mexico. A pair of Corvettes face off against Lamborghinis, GT-Rs, and even some devilishly quick motorcycles.

That Lamborghini Gallardo is laying down nearly 2,000 horsepower to the wheels, courtesy of a twin-turbo setup by Underground Racing. One of the two Nissan GT-Rs is generating 1,400 all-wheel horsepower, and the other is at 1,000 horsepower, so these are some formidable opponents.

But the pair of red Corvettes are taking the fight back. Both have nitrous. The C7 Corvette has a supercharger and a 100-shot, while the C5 Corvette Z06 is all-motor, with an even bigger 200-shot.

Together, this is one night run you won’t want to miss.
