Corvette Z06 faces Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren, at Circuit of the Americas

And guess what? It triumphs over all.

Chevrolet’s Performance Data Recorder plays witness to this thorough whipping of a McLaren 12C, Nissan GTR, Porsche 911 GT3, and “some surprise Ferraris” at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas during a track day.

It looks like a hell of a grab bag of cars on track—everything from lime green trackday specials to a Mercedes-Benz CLS sedan conspire to get in this C7 Z06’s way. But one by one, they all fall by the wayside. The impressive battles here are from the yellow 12C, the red Ferrari F430 convertible, and a Ferrari 458 Speciale which offers a point-by right before the front straight.

Nothing boosts the ego like getting a point-by from a guy in a Ferrari who knows he’s been outclassed.
