Yesterday’s all-conquering Corvette against today’s all-conquering Challenger: who wins?
Only the Hellcat comes with mods here: a set of drag radials. Otherwise, this is an interesting exercise in American supremacy, as the 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat has gotten millions of armchair drag racers stoked.
The Challenger wins. Probably because of the aforementioned 707 horsepower, probably because of the drag radials…or probably because it blatantly red lighted and got the jump from the start.
In the end, the Hellcat netted a 10.9-second quarter-mile, at 125mph. Too bad about the poor start, too, because this would have been a worthy race to witness.
