The 2015 Corvette Z06 can hit 60 mph from a dead standstill in just 2.95 seconds, and has been recorded blasting through the quarter-mile in just 10.95 seconds at 127 mph. These are the benchmark numbers that tuners must beat to prove their go-fast products are really worth it.
While we can’t speak for long-term reliability of anyone’s bolt ons, but this video posted above of Fasterproms new Z06 running a 9.87 quarter mile at 138 mph is mighty impressive indeed!
According to Fasterproms: “This week we added our custom 2.31 pulley and ported the blower. Headed back to the track tonight and had awesome results. We are still working out a few bugs and testing the limits of the fuel system. Dropped a couple of MPH in 3rd and 4th gear, she should run 142/143. Jeremy’s first pass he ran 140mph shutting down at 1100ft.”
“The total gained power from the pulley and ported blower was 38RWHP and 36RWTQ and a solid average of 36hp and 36tq and in many areas over 40+ under the peaks. The car has gone from manageable to scary fast and a spin monster.”
