At Drag Week 2013, this 1970 Camaro showed off its 400 cu. in. LSx engine, with a Precision 6764 twin-turbocharger setup that will allow it to see 180mph passes. Then, it went out there to do 7- and 8-second passes all day, with ease.
Later that night, it slid in the rain, and encountered a wall—but the next morning, it turned up with a bit of tape, a bit of improvised bodywork, and a lot of attitude. And that was even before it pulled off a time in the low 8s—before hitting the street once again.
“This is what Pro Street is all about,” says its driver. We’d be inclined to agree.
