Ten-second Camaro faces Cobra

It’s a battle of American classics—well, sorta. The late-70s Camaro falls in the yee-haw class of muscle cars, and the Cobra on the viewer’s right may not be a real Cobra, but it’s not a couple hundred thousand dollars, either.

No matter. Both cars can rip off ferocious burnouts.

That 1979 Camaro tears off a handy lead against the Cobra, at 10.591 seconds with a speed of 128.62mph. The Cobra, which also sounds incredible, pulls off a 3-second slower time at 109.67 seconds—as well as a poorer reaction time off the line.
