Turbo Honda holds its own against C6 Corvette Z06

We will tell you right now that the Honda CRX loses. As is to be expected when facing a C6 Corvette. Thing is, the CRX doesn’t lose by that much.

At ShiftS3ctor’s Airstrip Attack half-mile event, one wouldn’t expect a CRX to show up. But this one in particular has a humongous turbocharger, and its owner must be pretty bold to bring it against the legions of Corvettes and Porsches and BMWs.

From the outside camera, the Corvette eventually passes the CRX, but the latter puts up a fight. The Corvette’s best run was 159.8 mph, and the CRX is soon behind, at 144.6 mph. That’s pretty damn good for a car whose length is probably shorter than a Corvette’s wheelbase.

More interesting cars are what we need at events like this. Especially underdogs who put up a good fight.
