Watch a 780-horsepower ZR1 run with a nitrous-equipped Z06

Both of these Corvettes are high-horsepower beasts. The ZR1 is hitting 780 horsepower, while the Z06 is into the four figures.

But the Z06 has a trick up its proverbial sleeve: nitrous.

At the Texas Speed Syndicate’s Project X event, these crazed Corvettes do battle on the runway at Aransas County Airport. And god damn do they sound amazing when they roll out and hit their power bands. Two Corvettes enter, one Corvette wins. But the ultimate winner—especially if the astounded commenters are to be believed—is America.
