Corvette Z06 heads to the desert against Shelby GT500

Can a modded Z06 destroy a Shelby GT500 on the runway? Let’s find out.

All murdered out in the desert sun (do kids still say that?), the C6 Z06 features some light mods like heads and cams, as well as a fancy Akrapovic exhaust. But the 2014 Shelby GT500 is stock, and at that level it produces 662 horsepower, and certainly not something to be trifled with.
