Super Convoy: Supercharged Corvettes fire up on the streets

After some gas station trash talk, this supercharged convoy of fast American muscle rolls out into the dark.

A whole slew of C5, C6 and C7 Corvettes and a few beastly-sounding Camaros, all with heads/cams, nitrous, and other goodies. A few of the Corvettes are supercharged. The Camaro ZL1 features a blower that’s far bigger and more powerful than stock. And the Dodge Viper that shows up is also rocking the supercharger.

There’s a few actual rolling starts in here—a three-way battle between a 630-horsepower nitrous Corvette, against a 750-horsepower supercharged C7 and a 585-horsepower Corvette with heads and cams is an entertaining run—but it mostly just seems like a loose collection of guys having fun.

And that’s certainly cool with us, because it makes us want to join in.
